Sara Berki’s star is about to keep rising, with the Australian singer-songwriter announcing her debut headline tour of the country this week.
Taking her new single, twice, on the road in February 2025, Berki has unveiled the unique Fool Me Twice tour. Across the national tour, she will perform a combination of two sets—a solo acoustic set and a full band set. Berki will be joined by special guests Charlie Finn and 2024 Ekka Country Showdown winner Mack Geiger in Brisbane.
The tour begins on Friday, 7 February, at Lefty’s Music Hall in Brisbane before Berki and friends head to La La La’s in Wollongong (Saturday, 8 February), Waywards in Sydney (Friday, 14 February), Four5Nine in Perth (Friday, 21 February), the Grace Emily in Adelaide (Saturday, 22 February), and wrap up at The Workers Club, Melbourne, on Friday, 28 February.
Fans subscribed to Berki’s newsletter will have first access to tickets, with a pre-sale going live on Thursday, 31 October, from 10 am AEDT. The general sale begins at 10 am AEDT on Friday, 1 November – you can find tickets here.
Berki said of her debut headline tour, “I have been waiting for the day to be able to announce my first headline tour. It’s a scary step but one that all artists hope for when they’re starting out. These shows will be a lot of fun!
“We’ve got the super-talented Charlie Finn and Mack Geiger (Bris only) opening, and then I’m going to do two sets each night. The first one is a solo set of new and old songs and whatever we feel like at the time, and then I get to rock out with my band for the second set.”
She continued, “In Perth and Adelaide, we’re going to do the second set as a duo with Charlie playing pedal steel, acoustic guitar and mandolin. This is just the start, and we’ve got so many places we would love to take this show – I can’t wait to see everyone when we kick off the tour in February!”
Berki’s headline tour announcement follows her recent signing to Warner Music Australia and the release of twice.
The singer-songwriter joined Warner after an impressive year that’s seen her cover Lainey Wilson’s Out Of Oklahoma for the Twisters Soundtrack Brisbane Showcase, opening for Dasha’s fan show in Sydney, and going viral with her cover of John Denver’s Take Me Home, Country Roads, which was recorded at the Brisbane vs Carlton AFL match at the Gabba Stadium in Brisbane earlier this year.
