It’s a big day for Morgan Wallen fans, as the singer-songwriter has revealed the title of his forthcoming fourth album, teased a new single, and announced new tour dates.
Wallen is still working on the album, but he’s still given us the title: I’m The Problem. The first single, the title track, will be released on Friday, 31 January. It was written by Wallen, Ernest Keith Smith, Ryan Vojtesak, Grady Block, and Jamie McLaughlin and produced by Joey Moi and Charlie Handsome.
You can pre-save the song here and pre-order the first pressing of the album here.
From June to September, the Last Night singer will take his new music to ten cities across the US, announcing a 19-date stadium tour for I’m The Problem, produced by Live Nation.
During the tour, Wallen will be joined by a rotating roster of special guests, including Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Koe Wetzel, Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley, and Anne Wilson.
Teasing the tour and new music on social media, Wallen said: “This tour is named after my new album that I am still working on – I’m The Problem. Excited to tell y’all more about it soon, but the title track will be out next Friday 1/31.”
In a press release, he added: “We made so many lifelong memories on the One Night at A Time World Tour, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for my fans and the way they showed up each night.
“As I’ve been working on new music, it has inspired me to get back on the road and share these new songs with each of you on the I’m The Problem Tour. See y’all there.”
A portion of each ticket sold for the I’m The Problem tour will benefit the Morgan Wallen Foundation (MWF), which supports youth programs with a focus on music and sports. The One Night At A Time Tour, partnering with Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation, donated $500,000 worth of musical instruments to schools across 14 American cities.
The announcement of I’m The Problem follows the release of Wallen’s latest singles, Smile, Lies Lies Lies, and Love Somebody. It also arrives as Wallen prepares to host (and headline) his inaugural Sand In My Boots festival in May.
In addition to Wallen, the festival will feature performances by Post Malone, Brooks & Dunn, HARDY, Riley Green, Bailey Zimmerman, The War On Drugs, Ella Langley, Morgan Wade, and many more.
