This year’s CMA Awards are set to be interesting, with the highly anticipated performers’ line-up announced this week.
Starring country music heroes like Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson, and Luke Bryan, the CMA Awards have also locked in genre-bending artists who have made their marks on country and associated circles, such as Post Malone, Shaboozey, and Teddy Swims.
Just the first performers’ announcement, the CMA Awards will take place on Wednesday, 20 November, at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
As well as the artists mentioned above, the CMA Awards will also feature performances by Ashley McBryde, Thomas Rhett, and Dierks Bentley.
Meanwhile, it’s been revealed that Post Malone and Chris Stapleton will join forces for a performance of California Sober, Teddy Swims and Thomas Rhett will perform a medley of Lose Control and Something ‘Bout A Woman, their respective current hits. Bentley, set to celebrate Tom Petty, will pay tribute to the singer with American Girl, starring Molly Tuttle, Sierra Hull, and Bronwyn Keith-Hynes.
Luke Bryan will co-host the CMA Awards for the fourth year running alongside Peyton Manning and Lainey Wilson. Additional performers will be announced in the weeks leading up to the official ceremony.

Morgan Wallen leads this year’s CMA Awards nominations with seven nods. Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton follow with five nominations each, Post Malone and Lainey Wilson with four nominations, and Louis Bell, Luke Combs, Charlie Handsome, Hoskins, Jelly Roll, Megan Moroney, and Kacey Musgraves with three nominations.
This year’s CMA Awards find numerous artists nominated for awards for the first time, including Post Malone, Bailey Zimmerman, Riley Green, Noah Kahan, Ella Langley, Shaboozey, Nate Smith, Mitchell Tenpenny, and many more.
