Country music and WWE are two beloved facets of entertainment in the US. What goes together better?
Two Jelly Roll songs are set to feature on SummerSlam next month, and if iconic wrestler and Chief Content Officer of the WWE, Triple H, has his way, the country star will even perform at the event.
Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter) yesterday (16 July), Triple H revealed that Jelly Roll’s songs, Dead End Road – from the Twisters soundtrack – and single from his forthcoming, soon-to-be-announced new album, Liar, will be on the SummerSlam soundtrack.
“Excited to have my friend Jelly Roll back with two official #SummerSlam theme songs: ‘Dead End Road’ off Twisters: The Album, and ‘Liar’ off his album coming this fall,” Triple H wrote.
“Btw, @JellyRoll615 - let me know if you’re free on Aug. 3 to play a few songs for the @WWEUniverse...”
Jelly Roll wrote in response to the wrestler’s post, “Sounds like a good time to me, Bubba! I’ll have my people call your people!”

With SummerSlam scheduled to take place on Saturday, 3 August, Jelly Roll could even reprise his previous appearance at the WWE.
Taste Of Country notes that, back in November, Jelly Roll got outside the ring on WWE Raw and into a shoving contest with wrestlers JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio.
Hinting at a potential rematch, Jelly Roll said following the incident, “I feel like there's some unfinished business now. Makes me wanna lose a little weight and go kick Dominik's ass.”
Last week, Jelly Roll shared an emotional reaction after Eminem sampled his song, Save Me, on his new album, The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce).
